2-Day Working Stock Dog Training Clinic

Join us for a 2-day stock dog training clinic at the indoor riding arena (Manning Rodeo Grounds). If you have a dog (1 year or older preferably) you would like to train, or if you just want to observe how the training occurs, this would be an excellent clinic for you. Instructor Sarah Martin (GS Ranch) will go through both scenarios, and get you comfortable with training your dog for moving cattle and/or sheep. Training will take place with sheep.  Lunch provided on both days.

Limited spots avaliable- preference will be given to local ranchers.

  • Geared towards developing a working relationship with their dog, helping handlers become comfortable with training their dog, and understanding how stockdogs work.
  • Goals are to provide a supportive learning environment for all levels of handlers and dogs. All stock dog breeds welcome.

The event is finished.
