PRLL Humic Acid Tour
NPARA will be hosting a tour at one of our Peace Region Living Lab producer fields. Peace Region Living Lab producers are local farmers who are working closely with us on a 5 year farm scale research project. These farmers are implementing best management practices (BMPs) to help increase soil health and overall production.
Join us for a tour of a barley field that has been treated with humic acid for two years in a row.
We will discuss Humic Acid and what it can do for your crops, soil, and your wallet.
Come for coffee and snacks as we tour one of our valued producers’ bmp fields and compare it to one of their more conventional fields. A great way to learn from fellow producers in the region.
Several speakers are expected to attend the tour
Event starts at 2:30PM.
Please register in advance for meeting location.
Funding for this project has been provided by Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada through the Agricultural Climate Solutions – Living Lab program
